Let the beauty we love be what we do. ~Rumi ~

I so enjoyed participating once again in this years Art Feast . I assisted gallery owner Karla Winterowd of Winterowd Fine Art http://www.fineartsantafe.com along with Amaya Restaurant at Hotel Santa Fe http://hotelsantafe.com/amaya/. Tickets this year were $35.00 for seemingly endless samplings of fabulous cuisine from some of Santa Fe’s finest restaurants in some of the most beautiful gallery spaces in New Mexico, what a combination!

I spoke with so many people who have a tradition of visiting Santa Fe specifically for this event every year. The weather was perfect for 7,000 ft elevation in February. Shuttle busses were running crowds from Canyon Road to The Rail Yard Arts district to Downtown Santa Fe.  The turnout was amazing. Amaya served over 650 dishes of Herbed Polenta with spiced brisket and wild mushrooms, yum! I heard over and over that Amaya restaurant by far served the best dish, Yeah Chef Klein!

Best of all the funds raised go to ARTsmart http://artfeast.org/about Through 2012, ARTsmart will have distributed over $1,000,000 to ARTsmart projects, public school programs, art related organizations and endowment funds.
